Hyderabad: Hyderabad Police Commissioner V.C. Sajjanar felicitated 37 retiring police personnel at a farewell ceremony organised by the Hyderabad City Police Commissionerate.
The personnel retired on attaining superannuation after serving the department for several years. Sajjanar honoured them with shawls and mementos in recognition of their service.
Addressing the gathering, the Commissioner praised their contribution to the growth and modernisation of policing in Hyderabad. He also acknowledged their role in strengthening the department over the years.
Furthermore, Sajjanar advised the retirees to safeguard their retirement benefits. He urged them to invest only in secure institutions and remain alert to financial frauds.

The Commissioner distributed retirement benefits on behalf of the City Police Co-operative Credit Society.
Additionally, he conveyed his best wishes for a healthy, happy and peaceful retired life to all the retiring police personnel.
As a mark of respect and gratitude, the department arranged government vehicles to escort the retirees safely to their respective residences.
