Komatireddy Venkat Reddy grants ₹10 lakh aid to IIT Madras graduate for Germany studies

Hyderabad: Komatireddy Venkat Reddy sanctioned ₹10 lakh to help Parimala, an IIT Madras graduate from Devarakonda, pursue a master’s degree in Germany.

Parimala is the daughter of a daily wage labourer. She completed her undergraduate studies at IIT Madras. She later secured admission to a prestigious university in Germany for her master’s programme.

Her family could not arrange the funds required for her overseas education because of financial hardship.

Devarakonda MLA Balu Naik brought her case to the Minister for Roads, Buildings and Cinematography. Impressed by her academic performance, Komatireddy Venkat Reddy approved ₹10 lakh through the Komatireddy Prateek Foundation.

Komatireddy Venkat Reddy supports higher education

The Minister said poverty should never stand in the way of talent. He added that students from underprivileged families could excel globally when they received timely support.

He assured deserving students of continued assistance in pursuing their educational aspirations. The financial assistance for Parimala was released through the Komatireddy Prateek Foundation.

The Minister expressed confidence that Parimala would excel in Germany. He said her achievements would bring recognition to Telangana and the country.
