Hyderabad: Tappachabutra Police arrested three men for allegedly attempting to murder a woman during a Hyderabad property dispute involving family members near Samosa Galli in Daibagh.
Police registered a case under relevant provisions of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and the Arms Act, 1959. According to the police, the accused were identified as Mohammed Dastagir Shareef, Gulam Nabi Qureshi and Mohd Osman.
Hyderabad property dispute turns violent
Police said the three accused allegedly trespassed into the victim’s house and attacked her with a butcher knife over the family property dispute. Her husband also suffered injuries while trying to stop the assault.
However, the injured woman managed to escape from the house and sought help before the accused fled the scene. Later, police recovered the butcher knife used in the attack along with the scooter allegedly used by the accused. The three accused were produced before a court and remanded to judicial custody.

The case was detected under the supervision of ACP V. Tirupathi of Kulsumpura Division. Inspector G. Balakrishna led the investigation with Detective Inspector D. Venkateshwarlu and Sub-Inspector L. Raju, the investigating officer. Police constables U. Ganesh, S. Mohan Rao, P. Satheesh, G. Venkatesh, V. Ramanjaneyulu, G. Niranjan and P. Shiva Kumar also participated in the investigation.
