Hyderabad: Ganesh festival preparedness came under detailed review at a coordination meeting held at the Charminar Zonal Commissioner’s Office. Senior police, civic and festival committee representatives discussed arrangements for the upcoming celebrations.
The meeting followed directions from the Joint Commissioner of Police, Traffic, Hyderabad. Shri Rahul Hegde B.K., IPS, DCP, Traffic-III, chaired the session along with Shri K. Sathyanarayana, Zonal Commissioner, Charminar Zone.
Traffic and Law & Order ACPs from the concerned areas attended the meeting. SHOs from the respective zone also joined the discussions.
Officials from various departments participated in the meeting. Representatives of the Bhagyanagar Ganesh Utsav Committee also attended and shared their inputs on festival arrangements.
The participants examined key requirements for conducting the festival smoothly. Traffic regulation and coordination between departments formed an important part of the discussions.
Officials also reviewed crowd management requirements. They discussed measures to maintain orderly movement and ensure safety during the festival period.
