Hyderabad: Milad procession Hyderabad organisers urged volunteers to maintain discipline, decorum and respect during the Central Milad Procession scheduled for August 26. The Central Milad Procession Committee held a volunteer review meeting at Dargah Sharif Syedi Faqeer Pasha Tariq near Eidgah Mir Alam on Thursday.
Committee president Moulana Syed Ghulam Ghous Shaikhan Ahmed Qadri Shuttari chaired the meeting. Joint Secretary Moulana Syed Shah Mohammed Saifullah Hussaini Qadri Al-Baqri Saif Pasha hosted the gathering and welcomed the participants.
General Secretary Moulana Syed Khadir Mohiuddin Qadri Junaid Pasha Zareen Kullah said the procession would begin from historic Makkah Masjid after Zuhr prayers, following the long-standing practice.
He urged participants to maintain discipline and order throughout the event. Thousands of people participate in the procession.
Junaid Pasha also stressed that the procession should have no place for superstitious practices. He called for respect and reverence during the event dedicated to the Holy Prophet (PBUH).
Participants received an appeal to offer Zuhr prayers at Makkah Masjid before joining the procession. The committee also urged them to prevent any disrespect during the blessed Milad procession.
The committee advised participants to move forward while offering Naat and reciting Durood Sharif. It stressed orderly participation throughout the procession.

Additional DCP, Charminar Zone, Abdul Majeed said Hyderabad was a multicultural city that was progressing rapidly. He said maintaining peace and order remained a responsibility shared by everyone.
He also highlighted the role of volunteers in managing the procession. Abdul Majeed said volunteers played a more important role than police in maintaining discipline during the event.
The meeting also heard addresses from Convener Maulana Hafiz Mohammed Muzaffar Hussain Bandanawazi and Joint Convener Moulana Syed Ahmed Al-Hussaini Saeed Qadri. Other committee members also participated in the discussions.
Moulana Syed Liaqat Hussain Rizvi Mukhtar Pasha, Moulana Syed Shah Nematullah Qadri and Moulana Irfanullah Shah Noori attended the meeting. Publicity Committee Convener Maolana Dr. Khwaja Shujauddin Ifteqari Haqqani Pasha also addressed the gathering.
The committee unveiled the poster for the Central Milad Procession during the meeting. It carried instructions for participants, including details of dos and don’ts.
Several other religious scholars and committee members attended the review meeting. Among them were Moulana Hussain Pasha Makhdoomi, Moulana Syed Aslam Hussain Hafizi and Moulana Mohammed Ullah Shah Qadri SarKhel Agha.
The gathering also included Moulana Sheikh Fareeduddin Zahid Kareemi, Moulana Sufi Saif Ahmed Yafei, Moulana Syed Najmuddin Wahdati and Moulana Ghulam Subhani Siddiqui Al-Qadri Chishti. Moulana Syed Muzaffar Qadri Al-Jilani Mashayeq Balapur also joined the meeting.
Hafiz Shaik Shafi Mohiuddin Sharfi recited verses from the Holy Quran at the meeting. Qari Shafi Shareef recited a Naat.
Moulana Syed Nadeemullah Hussaini led the concluding prayer. The Central Milad Procession remained scheduled for August 26 and will begin from Makkah Masjid after Zuhr prayers.
