Hyderabad: Health Minister Damodar Rajanarsimha will distribute Nursing Officer appointment orders to selected candidates on Tuesday on the occasion of International Nurses Day.
The programme will begin at 4 pm at the grounds of Osmania Medical College in Koti. The Medical and Health Services Recruitment Board filled 1,919 Nursing Officer posts in the Health Department. It also filled 257 posts in the Labour Department.
Authorities will hand over appointment letters to 1,919 candidates selected for Health Department posts during the programme.
The minister directed Health Department Special Chief Secretary Christina Z Chongthu and senior officials to make arrangements for the event. He also instructed officials to prevent inconvenience to candidates attending the programme.

The recruitment board completed the selection process for Nursing Officer posts in the Health Department.
Officials said the programme would mark International Nurses Day. They said the event would recognise the contribution of nursing professionals in the healthcare sector.
