Site engineer dies after fall from building in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: A site engineer died after falling from the fifth floor of a building under construction at Osmania Medical College in Hyderabad, police said. The incident, which occurred about 15 days ago, came to light on Thursday.

According to Sultan Bazar Inspector Naresh, the victim was identified as Dhanuj, 27, a native of Nizamabad district. He was working as a site engineer at the hostel construction project in Koti.

Police said Dhanuj slipped and fell while taking measurements for the construction of a wall on the fifth floor. He sustained fatal injuries in the fall.

Site engineer death under police investigation

Inspector Naresh said Sultan Bazar Police had registered a case and launched an investigation into the incident.

Meanwhile, some people alleged that inadequate safety measures at the construction site could have contributed to the accident. They also claimed that the site might have lacked basic safety equipment required for work at heights. However, police have not confirmed those allegations.
