Merit list released for Assistant Professor posts in government medical colleges

Hyderabad: The Medical and Health Services Recruitment Board released the provisional merit list on Tuesday for 433 Assistant Professor posts in government medical colleges.

The Board invited candidates for certificate verification in a 1:3 ratio for each post. The verification process will take place on May 22 and 23 at the Indian Institute of Health and Family Welfare campus in Vengal Rao Nagar, Hyderabad.

Officials asked candidates to attend the verification process with educational, community and other required certificates.

The Board also stated that candidates who could not attend verification on May 22 or 23 could submit their certificates on May 25.

Assistant Professor posts verification scheduled in Hyderabad

Last year, the Medical and Health Services Recruitment Board issued a notification to fill 607 Assistant Professor in 34 departments of government medical colleges.

The recruitment process for 174 posts in Pediatrics, Orthopedics, Gynecology and Anesthesia departments has already concluded.

Recently, Health Minister Damodar Rajanarasimha handed over appointment letters to selected doctors for those posts.

The Board released the merit list on Tuesday for the remaining 433 Assistant Professor posts across 30 departments. It said the final list of selected doctors would be announced after certificate verification.
