Hyderabad: Cyberabad Police imposed restrictions on drones and other flying devices ahead of PM Modi visit to Hyderabad on May 10.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Hyderabad on Sunday to inaugurate the newly constructed Sindhu Hospital at Hitec City.
Police tightened security arrangements across areas falling under the Cyberabad Commissionerate limits.
Authorities also initiated precautionary measures to prevent any untoward incidents during the Prime Minister’s visit.
PM Modi visit prompts drone restrictions in Madapur
Cyberabad Police Commissioner imposed a ban on drones, para-gliders and remote-controlled micro-light aircraft in Madapur police station limits.
Officials said the restrictions would remain in force throughout May 10 due to security reasons.
Police warned that authorities would initiate strict legal action against anyone violating the restrictions.
The department also displayed notices regarding the restrictions at police stations, ACP offices and DCP offices.
