BRSV demands immediate release of fee reimbursement dues

Hyderabad: Bharat Rashtra Samithi Vidyarthi (BRSV) demanded the immediate release of pending Fee Reimbursement Dues and accused the Telangana government of neglecting the education sector. BRSV leaders unveiled a protest poster at the Arts College premises of Osmania University on Friday and highlighted concerns over delays in disbursing reimbursement funds.

Speaking on the occasion, BRSV State Vice-President Thunga Balu said students across Telangana were facing severe difficulties because the government had not cleared the pending Fee Reimbursement Dues. He alleged that the education sector had suffered neglect during the last 30 months and claimed that a system once considered among the best in the country had witnessed a decline.

Fee Reimbursement Dues delay affects students

Balu said Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy frequently spoke about the importance of education and the future of students. However, he alleged that the government had failed to match those commitments with action. According to him, neglecting education amounted to neglecting Telangana’s future.

He further alleged that the government had failed to provide adequate funding to educational institutions. As a result, students and their families were facing financial strain due to pending Fee Reimbursement Dues. The BRSV leader also raised concerns about the conduct of examinations. He alleged a lack of transparency, planning and security in the examination system.

Balu criticised the government for failing to address student-related concerns and claimed the education system was facing serious challenges. Furthermore, he announced that BRSV would organise a state-level student conference on July 22 at Tagore Auditorium in Hyderabad under the leadership of Kompalli Naresh.

The conference will discuss Fee Reimbursement Dues, student welfare issues and measures required to protect the education sector. Several BRSV leaders, including Avala Haribabu, Oggu Shivakumar, Kuruva Pallayya, Ram Narsing Goud, Puli Srikanth, Konda Ganesh and others, participated in the programme.
