Hyderabad: The Khairatabad and Secunderabad traffic zones of Hyderabad Traffic Police organised the Arrive Alive road safety campaign on Saturday morning at Jalavihar to reduce road accidents and promote safe driving practices across Telangana.
The Arrive Alive programme began at 8 am. Joint Commissioner of Police (Traffic) Joel Davis attended the event as the chief guest. Film actor Nikhil Siddharth participated as the special guest.
Senior traffic officials, including DCP Traffic-1 Avinash Kumar, joined the programme and interacted with participants.
Arrive Alive campaign promotes safe and responsible driving
As part of the Arrive Alive initiative, traffic police flagged off a bike rally involving 300 riders. The rally carried a strong message on road safety and responsible driving.
Officials said the Arrive Alive campaign encouraged citizens to follow traffic rules, wear protective gear and avoid rash driving. They stressed that disciplined road behaviour could significantly reduce accidents.
Traffic police urged the public to take a pledge in support of the Arrive Alive. They said collective responsibility and continued awareness would help build safer roads across Telangana.
