Cyberabad police distribute helmets under ‘Arrive Alive’ drive in Kukatpally

Hyderabad: As part of the Arrive Alive programme, Cyberabad Police Commissioner M. Ramesh, IPS, distributed helmets in Kukatpally and urged citizens to strictly follow traffic rules to prevent road accidents.

Addressing students and young commuters, the Commissioner called on everyone to follow the slogan “Start Early – Go Slowly – Reach Safely.” He stressed that adherence to road safety norms could save lives and reduce accident-related fatalities.

Dr. Ramesh said youth and students must take personal responsibility for their safety. He advised them to wear helmets, obey speed limits and avoid risky driving behaviour on city roads.

Arrive Alive programme held across Cyberabad limits

As part of the campaign, Cyberabad Police conducted awareness programmes from January 13 to 23 across educational institutions and offices within the commissionerate limits. Officials said the initiative focused on building awareness about traffic rules and safe road practices.

The Commissioner said collective participation was essential to build an accident-free society. He added that sustained awareness efforts would help create long-term behavioural change among road users.

Cyberabad Police officials said similar outreach programmes would continue in the coming days to strengthen road safety awareness across the city.
