Hyderabad: Hyderabad Traffic Police booked 399 drunk driving cases during a two-day special enforcement drive conducted on January 23 and 24 to strengthen road safety and curb violations.

Traffic police reiterated their zero-tolerance policy towards drunk driving. They said such special drives would continue to deter offenders and reduce road accidents.
Police urged commuters to cooperate with enforcement teams and follow traffic rules. They stressed that responsible driving remained essential to ensure safer roads for all road users.
Officials added that strict action against drunk driving formed a key part of Hyderabad’s broader road safety strategy.
