Hyderabad: The Telangana State Police Department organised the Arrive Alive campaign at the Kondapur Regional Transport Office as part of National Road Safety Month.
The programme aimed to spread awareness on road safety and responsible driving. Officials said the campaign focused on reducing road accidents. They also stressed the need to build safer driving habits among commuters.
Arrive Alive campaign highlights importance of road safety
Dr. Gajarao Bhupal, IPS, Joint Commissioner of Police (Traffic), Cyberabad, attended the programme as the chief guest. While addressing the gathering, he said the core objective of the Arrive Alive campaign was to ensure that every commuter returned home safely.
He urged motorists to follow traffic rules and drive responsibly. He added that discipline on roads could prevent many accidents. Traffic police officials and RTO staff also took part in the programme. They interacted with motorists and explained key road safety measures.
