Telangana delegation attends Khelo India Chintan Shivir in Srinagar

Hyderabad: Telangana delegation is attending the Khelo India Chintan Shivir in Srinagar to discuss sports development and coordination.

Telangana Minister Vakiti Srihari is leading the delegation. Meanwhile, Advisor A.P. Jitender Reddy, Sports Authority Chairman Shiva Sena Reddy, Special Chief Secretary Jayesh Ranjan, and Managing Director Soni Bala Devi are accompanying him.

The event is taking place at the Sher-i-Kashmir International Convention Centre in Srinagar. Further, Union Minister Mansukh Mandaviya and Minister of State Nikhil Khadse are leading the programme.

Khelo India Chintan Shivir drives sports strategy and coordination

Participants are discussing coordination between the Centre and states. In addition, they are outlining future strategies for sports development.

The Telangana delegation will present the state’s sports policy and highlight its initiatives. Moreover, it will seek support from the Centre for infrastructure and development needs.

Ministers, coaches, athletes, and officials from several states and Union Territories are attending the event. Meanwhile, Vakiti Srihari joined a yoga session with Mansukh Mandaviya on the first day.

He said yoga improves both physical fitness and mental well-being. Therefore, he urged people of all age groups to practice it regularly.
