Hyderabad: The Telangana government sanctioned ₹20 crore for the construction of the NAC Skill Development Centre in Manthani, Peddapalli district, and approved the establishment of the training facility.
The Transport, Roads and Buildings (TR&B) department issued the administrative orders on Friday. Accordingly, Special Chief Secretary Vikas Raj signed the orders.
The NAC Skill Development Centre will create a highly skilled workforce to meet the evolving needs of the construction industry. Besides, it will provide international-standard training and equip youth with modern construction technologies and practices.

Further, the centre will offer both short-term and long-term training programmes. As a result, trainees will be able to pursue self-employment and secure jobs with leading companies in India and abroad.
Meanwhile, IT and Industries Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu welcomed the government’s decision to establish the new training centre in Manthani.
He also thanked Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy and Roads and Buildings Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy for approving the project.
Moreover, Sridhar Babu said the facility would become a major skill development hub for the youth of North Telangana. According to him, it would improve employability and create opportunities in the construction sector across India and overseas.
