Hyderabad: Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla on Friday felicitated Siri Athasha, a 9-year-old girl from Hyderabad, at Lok Bhavan. He honoured her for successfully completing the Sar Pass Trek in Himachal Pradesh.
The young trekker reached an altitude of 13,800 feet during the expedition. She displayed determination, courage and resilience at a young age.
Further, she shared her experience of visiting Umling La Pass in Ladakh during her interaction with the Governor. The pass has the world’s highest motorable road. Guinness World Records recognises it.

Meanwhile, the Governor congratulated the young achiever and praised her adventurous spirit and perseverance. He said children like her reflected the immense potential of India’s youth. He added that such achievements inspired others to pursue their dreams with dedication and confidence.
Moreover, Shukla encouraged her to continue striving for excellence. He wished her success in all her future endeavours.
Additionally, the Governor expressed hope that her achievement would inspire more young people. He urged them to embrace adventure, discipline and the spirit of exploration.
