Assam and Telangana Governors discuss cooperative federalism and welfare initiatives

Hyderabad: Assam Governor Lakshman Prasad Acharya met Telangana Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla at Lok Bhavan on Saturday. The two leaders discussed cooperative federalism, constitutional values and public welfare initiatives.

They also exchanged views on issues of mutual interest. The meeting took place during Acharya’s official visit to Hyderabad.

Cooperative federalism discussion covers Telangana’s development

Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla briefed his Assam counterpart on Telangana’s rich cultural heritage, traditions and developmental initiatives. He also highlighted the state’s unique identity.

Meanwhile, Lakshman Prasad Acharya visited Lok Bhavan with his family during the official programme.

Cooperative federalism meeting highlights goodwill

Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla and First Lady Janaki Shukla welcomed Lakshman Prasad Acharya and his family. In addition, they presented mementoes as a gesture of goodwill.

The meeting reflected continued engagement between constitutional authorities on governance, development and public welfare.
