Hyderabad: Telangana Gurukul JEE Mains results recorded strong national performance, with hundreds of students from welfare residential institutions qualifying for advanced stages.
Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy expressed satisfaction over the results and congratulated students and their parents. He said the achievements matched standards set by corporate institutions.
The Chief Minister added that the government will continue to support students from disadvantaged backgrounds in preparing for competitive exams. At the same time, he appreciated the efforts of teaching staff and officials who guided students.
Telangana Gurukul JEE Mains results see record qualifiers across institutions
From Social Welfare Residential institutions, around 337 students qualified for JEE Advanced. Among them, Y Navadeep secured 98.39 percentile, while Sathya Swaroop scored 97.99 and Yashwanth 95.70. K Sri Varsha also achieved 94.64 percentile, with 109 students scoring above 80 percentile.
Meanwhile, Tribal Welfare Residential institutions saw 270 students qualify for Advanced. K Shiva Prasad secured 99.15 percentile, while Dheeravat Siddu scored 94.70. Patlavat Yogiraj Naik and Chauhan Praveen also performed strongly. Mokalla Sharath Chandra emerged as a national topper in the ST category.
From BC Welfare Residential institutions, 314 students appeared for the exam and 69 qualified for Advanced. Notably, this included 37 boys and 32 girls.
In Minority Welfare Residential institutions, 33 students qualified for Advanced. Syed Abdul Samad secured 98.78 percentile, while B Rishikesh scored 98.65. S Rajesh and MD Zaidan also achieved high percentiles.
Officials said the performance reflects improved infrastructure, focused training, and student commitment. They added that government support has enabled students from marginalised communities to compete for admissions into premier institutions like IITs and NITs.
