Hyderabad: The Telangana Health Department appealed to parents to ensure children aged 1–19 years receive an Albendazole tablet under the supervision of trained health staff as part of the state’s Albendazole deworming drive.
The programme aims to cover 96,81,855 children across Telangana through schools and Anganwadi centres. Health officials said the tablet helps protect children from intestinal worms, improves nutrition, strengthens immunity and supports healthy physical growth and better learning outcomes.
Parents were advised to ensure eligible children receive the tablet during the campaign conducted at educational institutions and Anganwadi centres.
