IT Minister Sridhar Babu inaugurates Heineken Global Capability Centre

Hyderabad: IT and Industries Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu inaugurated the Heineken Global Capability Centre in Hyderabad on Wednesday, expanding the company’s presence in India.

The facility, named Heineken Business Services India, is located in the Financial District and spans 76,000 square feet. It will function as a strategic hub delivering services across finance, digital, technology and analytics.

The Heineken Global Capability Centre is expected to strengthen Hyderabad’s position as a leading destination for global capability centres. It will also create over 300 high-value jobs in the initial phase.

Furthermore, employment at the Heineken Global Centre is projected to scale up to 1,600 in the coming years.

Heineken Global Capability Centre to drive employment growth

Heineken has a legacy spanning more than 150 years in the brewing sector. Its products are available in over 190 countries. In addition, the company operates more than 165 breweries across over 70 countries.

Several senior executives attended the inauguration. These included Harold van den Broek, Executive Board Member and CFO, and Yolanda Talamo, Chief People Officer. Ronald den Elzen, Chief Digital and Technology Officer, and Akos Magyari, Senior Director, Heineken Business Services, were also present.

State Excise and Tourism Minister Jupally Krishna Rao attended the event. Vivek Gupta, Managing Director of United Breweries Limited, and Garima Singh, Chief Corporate Affairs Officer, were present as well.
