Revanth, Bhatti pay tribute to Prof. Jayashankar on birth anniversary

Hyderabad: Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy and Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka on Thursday paid tributes to Prof. Jayashankar on his birth anniversary. They recalled his lasting contribution to the Telangana movement.

Revanth Reddy offered floral tributes to the late professor’s portrait at his residence in Jubilee Hills. Moreover, he described the Telangana ideologue as a towering personality. He said Jayashankar dedicated his life to the struggle for a separate Telangana State.

The Chief Minister said the veteran academic gave ideological direction to the Telangana movement. Further, he said the people’s government remained committed to fulfilling his ideals. He added that the government would carry forward his vision for the State.

Prof. Jayashankar legacy remembered

Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka also paid tributes on the occasion. He described the Telangana ideologue as a great intellectual who guided the movement through his ideas.

Bhatti said his ideals and spirit would remain eternal. Meanwhile, he hailed him as the ideologue and father of Telangana while paying homage on his birth anniversary.
