KRMB meeting postponed again as Andhra Pradesh cites cyclone

Hyderabad: The Krishna River Management Board (KRMB) has postponed its 21st meeting once again. The board chairman informed Telangana and Andhra Pradesh about the decision on Wednesday.

The full board meeting had been scheduled for 11 am on Thursday under the chairman’s leadership. Andhra Pradesh asked for a postponement because the cyclone would prevent its officials from attending. The board agreed to the request and put off the meeting.

Telangana had sought an earlier delay

The board first decided to hold the full KRMB meeting on October 1. It then moved the meeting to the 26th after Telangana asked for another date. The state’s engineers were also going to Maharashtra along with Chief Minister Revanth Reddy.
