Hyderabad: Revenue, Housing, Information and Public Relations Minister Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy launched the Indiramma Housing helpline at the Telangana Housing Board office on Saturday. The facility will provide accurate information to applicants under the Indiramma Housing programme in the Core Urban Region (CURE). Accordingly, the government introduced the service to prevent confusion and misinformation.
The call centre will explain the application process, eligibility criteria, required documents, payments and the allotment procedure. Further, the Minister urged applicants to avoid middlemen. Instead, he asked them to rely only on the official helpline for authentic information.
The Indiramma Housing helpline will function from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on 040-24603572. Moreover, the service will be available in Telugu, Hindi, English and Urdu. The government said the support system would help applicants receive accurate guidance.

Meanwhile, Ponguleti said the government planned to build one lakh houses in the CURE area. It has already started work on 7,680 houses in the first phase across 16 Assembly constituencies. Further, he clarified that officials would implement the scheme constituency-wise. He asked applicants to apply only in their respective constituencies.
In addition, applicants can submit their forms through MeeSeva centres, the online portal or WhatsApp. The Minister urged people not to believe rumours or misleading propaganda. Similarly, he said the scheme targets low-income families living in the Hyderabad CURE area. Annual family income must not exceed ₹6 lakh.
Besides, applicants must have lived within the CURE limits for at least 10 years. Neither the applicant nor any family member should own a house, flat or plot within the Outer Ring Road (ORR) or the CURE limits. Also, each family can submit only one application. Each eligible family can receive only one flat.
Applicants to undergo digital verification
Moreover, Ponguleti said applicants only need to provide their Aadhaar number while submitting the application. However, they do not need to upload caste, income or salary certificates at that stage. Instead, they can submit those documents during verification and the lottery process.
Additionally, applicants must pay an application fee of ₹10,000 through UPI or net banking. The government will refund the amount to the same bank account if an applicant does not receive a flat. Further, the Minister advised applicants to preserve their MeeSeva receipt, payment receipt and application number. He also asked them to keep their registered mobile number active until officials complete verification, allotment and refund procedures.
Accordingly, officials will digitally scrutinise every application before conducting field verification and final validation. If eligible applications exceed the available flats, they will allot the houses through a transparent lottery.
Finally, each flat will include one bedroom, a hall and a kitchen with a built-up area of about 525 square feet. The market value of each flat is estimated at ₹40 lakh to ₹60 lakh. In addition, the government will provide a ₹5 lakh subsidy. It will also register an undivided land share of 20 to 25 square yards in the beneficiary’s name. Beneficiaries will contribute only ₹6 lakh towards the cost of the flat.
