One Ward Every Day initiative review held in Madhapur Anjaiah Nagar

Hyderabad: The Commissioner of Cyberabad Municipal Corporation conducted a field inspection in Anjaiah Nagar ward under the One Ward Every Day initiative, reviewing civic infrastructure, sanitation and traffic management in Madhapur.

The inspection took place in the Whitefield area of Madhapur Circle in Kukatpally Zone. The Commissioner, along with the Deputy Commissioner and circle staff, assessed multiple civic issues on the ground.

As part of the One Ward Every Day initiative, the team interacted with resident welfare associations. They gathered feedback on local concerns to guide immediate interventions.

One Ward Every Day initiative focuses on roads and infrastructure

Officials reviewed road widening and footpath development between Ramalayam and Kothaguda Junction. They also examined plans to develop a graveyard area near a bottleneck at Trendset Jayabheri.

In addition, a themed play area under the flyover was proposed. Authorities said such measures would improve both mobility and public utility.

Encroachments on footpaths were cleared during the visit. Officials also reviewed compliance with the “No Bin – No Trade” rule among street vendors.

One Ward Every Day initiative targets traffic and safety improvements

The inspection covered road widening towards Gachibowli to ease congestion. Officials coordinated with Traffic Police on measures such as no-honking zones, control of racing and school bus safety.

They also reviewed improvements at junctions and turning points. Immediate action was ordered to address potholes and carry out patchwork.

Mirrors were to be installed at blind turns. Streetlight functionality was also reviewed to ensure safer roads.

One Ward Every Day initiative reviews sanitation and drainage

Authorities directed removal of hanging cable bundles and action against long-parked vehicles through marking and clearance.

A joint inspection with HMWSSB officials was conducted to address drainage issues. Early resolution was instructed to prevent further inconvenience.

Officials also reviewed development of the central median to streamline traffic movement. Door-to-door waste collection was assessed, with focus on improving consistency.

Garbage Vulnerable Points were identified, and officials were directed to prevent their recurrence. Ongoing works under the 99 Days Action Plan were also reviewed.

The Commissioner instructed officials to adhere to timelines and accelerate pending works. The One Ward Every Day initiative aimed to resolve local issues through direct engagement and on-ground monitoring.
