Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy extended greetings to engineers across the state and the country on National Engineers Day. The day was observed to mark the birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna Sir Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya.
On the occasion, Revanth Reddy described Visvesvaraya’s contribution to India’s development as memorable. He also praised his exceptional talent, discipline, dedication and vision.
The Chief Minister said engineers were continuing to play a key role in the country’s progress. In particular, he said they were combining technological knowledge with public welfare while following Visvesvaraya’s path.
Engineers were contributing to development across several sectors, Revanth Reddy said. Their work covered buildings, roads, irrigation projects and industry. In addition, he referred to their role in advancing modern technology.
