Hyderabad: Police rescued three Mailardevpally missing girls from the Dakshin Express in Madhya Pradesh and reunited them with their families. Five special teams traced the minors through CCTV footage, technical surveillance and coordinated railway assistance.
The girls had left their homes on July 24. Police said they became emotionally distressed after their parents frequently reprimanded them. Their families filed a missing complaint with Mailardevpally Police on July 25. Consequently, officers treated the case as a priority and launched an immediate search.
The operation continued under the supervision of the Rajendranagar Deputy Commissioner of Police. Meanwhile, investigators formed five teams to examine different leads. Officers reviewed CCTV footage from relevant locations. They also used technical surveillance to track a mobile phone linked to one girl’s Instagram account.
The investigation later indicated that the girls had boarded the Dakshin Express. Therefore, Hyderabad Police alerted railway authorities and sought immediate assistance.
Mailardevpally missing girls traced through railway coordination
Railway Police intercepted the Dakshin Express at Bina Railway Station in Madhya Pradesh. They located the three minors safely on board the train. After the rescue, officials arranged their return to Hyderabad. Police then completed the required legal formalities and provided counselling to the girls.
Subsequently, officers handed the minors over to their parents. The Mailardevpally missing girls had remained safe throughout the journey, according to the police account.
The operation involved coordination between Mailardevpally Police, railway authorities and officers monitoring technical leads. Moreover, investigators acted quickly after confirming the train route.
Police said the mobile phone trail played an important role in locating the children. CCTV analysis also helped officers reconstruct their movements after they left home. The department advised parents to maintain open communication with their children. Officers also urged families to address emotional concerns with patience.
In addition, police asked parents to monitor their children’s online activity. They said children should seek help from family members or trusted adults during emotional distress. Officials cautioned minors against taking impulsive decisions when facing personal problems. Instead, they encouraged children to discuss their concerns with responsible adults.
