Hyderabad: Police raided the Cherry Oaks farmhouse near Pedda Mangalram village in Moinabad mandal of Ranga Reddy district after receiving credible information about a secret drug party. Authorities found that several minors were consuming drugs and alcohol at the event.
According to police, around 50 people had gathered at the farmhouse for the late-night party. Most of them had connected through an Instagram page called “Traphouse 9mm.” The presence of minors at the drug party raised serious concerns among officials.
Six organisers arrested, drugs and liquor seized
Rajendranagar SOT police arrested six organisers of the Cherry Oaks farmhouse drug party. Officials confirmed that drug tests conducted on two minors returned positive for ganja consumption. Police also seized eight bottles of imported liquor from the farmhouse.
A case has been registered, and an investigation is underway to identify others involved in the drug network. Police said such parties, often organised through social media, have become a recurring concern in the city’s outskirts despite previous crackdowns.
