Hyderabad: A Hyderabad businessman snake bite incident ended in tragedy after a 30-year-old man died while undergoing treatment for a venomous snake bite sustained at a farmhouse in Chevella. The incident occurred two days ago in Survey No. 116 of Mudimyal village in Chevella mandal and surfaced later.
Police identified the deceased as Nawab Syed Khumaiz Mohiuddin Hussaini, a resident of Khadri Hills under the Attapur circle limits in Hyderabad. According to investigators, Hussaini was staying at the farmhouse with friends when a small venomous snake appeared on the premises.

Meanwhile, Hussaini allegedly picked up the snake with his bare hands in an attempt to frighten his friends. During the act, the reptile bit his right thumb. Police said his friends warned him against handling the snake, but he ignored their advice.
After some time, he developed health complications and became unwell. His friends rushed him to a private hospital for treatment. However, doctors later shifted him to Osmania General Hospital after his condition worsened.
Hussaini died while receiving treatment at the hospital. He is survived by his wife and three children. Meanwhile, Chevella police registered a case and launched an investigation into the incident.
