Hyderabad: The Council Ethics Committee for 2026–27 began its preliminary meeting at the Legislative Council Conference Hall on Tuesday under MLC Mahesh Kumar Goud’s chairmanship.
Mahesh Kumar Goud, who also served as Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee president, chaired the preliminary proceedings of the Legislative Council Committee. The meeting brought together senior government and Legislative Council representatives along with members of the committee.

State IT and Industries Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu participated in the Council Committee preliminary meeting. Legislative Council Chairman Gutha Sukender Reddy and Deputy Chairman Banda Prakash also attended the proceedings.
In addition, members appointed to the Committee for 2026–27 participated in the meeting at the Council Conference Hall. The meeting marked the preliminary sitting of the Legislative Council Committee for the 2026–27 period under Mahesh Kumar Goud’s leadership.
