Hyderabad: BRS working president K.T. Rama Rao will attend the Telangana Formation Day celebrations organised by the party’s Malaysia unit in Kuala Lumpur on June 6, 2026.
The Telangana Formation Day event will take place at the Matrade Exhibition and Convention Centre. Organisers expect large participation from the Telangana and Telugu diaspora in Malaysia.
A delegation led by BRS NRI Global Coordinator Mahesh Bigala met KTR and formally invited him to the programme. BRS Malaysia representatives Maruthi Kurma, Chitti Babu, Sridhar and Priya also participated in the meeting.
KTR accepted the invitation and confirmed his participation as the chief guest for the Telangana Formation Day celebrations.
Telangana Formation Day event planned on grand scale
BRS leaders L. Ramana and G. Kishore were also present during the meeting with the delegation.
According to BRS Malaysia representatives, organisers are making elaborate arrangements for the event in Kuala Lumpur.
They said the Telangana Formation Day celebrations would bring together members of the Telangana community in Malaysia to mark the occasion with pride and enthusiasm.
The programme is expected to attract members of the Telugu diaspora from different parts of Malaysia.
BRS Malaysia leaders said the event would celebrate Telangana’s formation and strengthen connections among overseas Telangana communities.
