KTR should fix family issues before attacking Congress, says Vivek Venkatswamy

Hyderabad: Labour, Employment and Mines Minister Dr. G. Vivek Venkatswamy on Sunday took aim at BRS working president K.T. Rama Rao, advising him to resolve his own family issues before commenting on the Congress party. Vivek tells KTR to focus on internal matters first.

Addressing a press conference at Gandhi Bhavan, Dr. Venkatswamy said the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) had steadily lost public support. He pointed to the party’s defeat in multiple elections since the 2023 Assembly polls, including the Lok Sabha elections, Cantonment by-election, Jubilee Hills by-election, and Panchayat elections. Vivek tells KTR that these results indicate a party in decline.

Minister slams BRS over repeated defeats

“The people have clearly rejected the BRS in every election,” he said. Vivek tells KTR that this pattern shows the public’s discontent. He added that despite a series of setbacks, the party has refused to acknowledge or learn from voters’ repeated verdicts.

Dr. Venkatswamy made the remarks in response to KTR’s recent statement claiming that the public was unhappy after bringing Congress to power. He asserted that ongoing electoral trends reflect a consistent rejection of BRS by the electorate and a steady decline in its political relevance. In conclusion, Vivek tells KTR that BRS needs to reassess its strategies.
