Kavitha outlines Telangana Rakshana Sena plans

Hyderabad: Telangana Rakshana Sena President Kalvakuntla Kavitha announced Telangana Rakshana Sena plans and outlined the organisation’s agenda at a press meet in Hyderabad.

She said the Telangana Rakshana Sena would evolve into a non-governmental organisation and focus on young people. She added that the group would act as a voice that questions authority.

Speaking at Meet the Press at the Press Club in Basheer Bagh, Kavitha detailed key aspects of the Telangana Rakshana Sena plans. She said the organisation would work towards inclusive development across Telangana.

Kavitha said the group would reach people through a programme named Panchajanyam. She promised free medical treatment for the poor, regardless of illness severity.

She also pledged to provide quality free education and healthcare. In addition, she said the organisation would create one lakh supernumerary jobs for Telangana movement activists.

Telangana Rakshana Sena plans focus on welfare and jobs

Kavitha criticised both the central and state governments over paddy procurement. She said farmers waited for days at procurement centres and some died near grain heaps.

She said employment had become a mockery due to unfulfilled promises. However, she assured that farmers would not face distress in selling paddy if her group came to power.

Kavitha said she wanted to act like a mother to the people. She criticised remarks made against her on social media. She added that governance had weakened due to lack of compassion.

She also pointed out the absence of ramps and special toilets for persons with disabilities in the Secretariat. She said the state transport corporation did not provide free bus travel for them.

Telangana Rakshana Sena plans include political challenge

Kavitha criticised Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, saying he belonged to Telangana but depended on Delhi leadership. She alleged that the government failed to act on its promises.

She said authorities had not addressed minority welfare, the SC and ST sub-plan, overseas scholarships and reservations. She added that her organisation would fight for displaced people and offer legal support.

Kavitha said elections should normally take place after 800 days, but adjustments reduced the period to about 100 days. She said her group would work intensively during this period.

She asserted that the Telangana Rakshana Sena plans aimed to unseat the Congress government.
