Hyderabad: Telangana Rakshana Sena (TRS) president Kalvakuntla Kavitha on Wednesday challenged Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy to order a CBI inquiry into land allegations he raised in the State Assembly.
The Kavitha CBI probe challenge followed Revanth Reddy’s remarks during an Assembly debate on Section 22-A. He referred to land allegedly held by Kavitha’s family and several other prominent figures.
Kavitha said she was ready to surrender property immediately if authorities found any illegal land in her possession. She said the same would apply to even one square yard beyond the property declared in her official election affidavit. She also said she would hand over any property found to have been acquired in violation of rules.

Kavitha made the demand in a post on X, formerly Twitter. She said she did not have faith in a state-level investigation and instead sought an independent CBI inquiry. Moreover, she demanded that the agency investigate all individuals named by Revanth Reddy during his Assembly remarks.
Her demand covered former ministers and leaders T. Harish Rao, Naveen Rao, Kondal Rao, Gangula Kamalakar and Errabelli Dayakar Rao. She also named G. Jagadish Reddy, J. Rameshwar Rao, Pratima Srinivas Rao and Palla Rajeshwar Reddy.
In addition, Kavitha sought a probe involving D. Sudheer Reddy and Pilot Rohith Reddy. She also referred to a person whom she described as the Chief Minister’s “alleged spy” at KCR’s farmhouse.
The Kavitha CBI probe challenge also came amid her continuing political allegations against Revanth Reddy and Harish Rao. Kavitha alleged that the Chief Minister and the BRS leader were acting together. She claimed they were staging a joint political “drama” to divert public attention.
