Hyderabad: State Labour, Employment, Mines and Geology Minister Gaddam Vivek Venkataswamy and Peddapalli MP Gaddam Vamshi Krishna on Monday inaugurated newly constructed Indiramma houses in Rajaram and Kothapalli villages of Kotapalli mandal in Mancherial district.
The leaders formally opened the houses by cutting the ribbon and interacted with beneficiaries.
The houses were constructed under the Telangana government’s Indiramma housing scheme, which aims to provide permanent housing to poor families.

Addressing the gathering, Vivek Venkataswamy said the Congress government was implementing the scheme with the objective of ensuring every poor family owns a house.
Furthermore, he said the programme reflected the government’s commitment to improving the lives of economically weaker sections.
According to the minister, the newly constructed houses would provide stability and dignity to beneficiary families.
He also said the government remained committed to fulfilling the dream of home ownership for all eligible families.
Meanwhile, MP Vamshi Krishna said the state government was giving high priority to welfare and housing initiatives.
Additionally, he said the Indiramma houses programme was helping thousands of families secure safe and permanent shelter.
He noted that the scheme would contribute to broader social development by improving living conditions for disadvantaged families.
Local public representatives, officials, villagers and beneficiaries attended the inauguration programme.
