Malkajgiri CP Sumathi inspects Keesara police station

Hyderabad: Malkajgiri Police Commissioner B. Sumathi on Monday visited the Keesara police station and reviewed its functioning, infrastructure and public service mechanisms.

During the inspection, she examined the performance of CCTV cameras, station records and the functioning of various sections.

Additionally, the commissioner reviewed cleanliness, maintenance standards and other facilities available at the station.

She later interacted with personnel from the crime wing, reception desk and other departments.

Sumathi assessed the staff’s understanding of their responsibilities and operational procedures.

Furthermore, she advised officials to make better use of technology to provide faster and more efficient services to the public.

The commissioner also inspected the station premises and expressed satisfaction with the cleanliness and greenery maintained on the campus.

Meanwhile, she held a separate meeting with section in-charges and station personnel.

During the meeting, she instructed officers to show greater initiative in discharging their duties.

Additionally, she reviewed the use of technology-based applications in policing.

She also issued directions on NPDS case investigations and the utilisation of the Mee Suraksha application.

Furthermore, she stressed the need to increase public participation in the app and ensure regular updates of information.

Sumathi urged all personnel to work responsibly and contribute towards delivering transparent, efficient and citizen-friendly police services.
