GHMC conducts citywide drive against single-use plastic

Hyderabad: As part of the Praja Palana–Pragati Pranalika 99 Days Action Plan, the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) conducted a citywide campaign against single-use plastic to promote environmental awareness and sustainable practices.

The civic body organised a massive awareness rally and a special enforcement drive across Hyderabad.

Additionally, officials conducted public outreach programmes and plastic collection drives at public locations and places of worship.

The initiative aimed to encourage citizens to reduce plastic waste and adopt eco-friendly alternatives.
