Hyderabad traffic diversions announced for NTR statue event

Hyderabad: Hyderabad traffic diversions will remain in force around Maitrivanam Junction and Ameerpet for the inauguration of the NTR statue on May 28.

City traffic police announced that diversions would begin at 10 pm on May 27 and continue until 11 pm on May 28 due to VIP movement and public gatherings.

According to police, traffic from Ameerpet, Satyam Theatre and SR Nagar towards Jubilee Hills Check Post through Yousufguda will move via Vengalrao Nagar, Kalyan Nagar Junction and Krishna Kanth Park.

Officials also stated that vehicles travelling from Satyam Theatre towards Jubilee Hills Check Post would take the Ameerpet and Panjagutta route.

Hyderabad traffic diversions to affect key junctions

Traffic police said that on May 28 between 2 pm and 11 pm, vehicles from Yousufguda Checkpost and Rahamath Nagar towards Maitrivanam would divert through Krishna Kanth Park and SR Nagar.

Authorities also announced diversions for traffic from bylanes located between Yousufguda Basti and Al-Saba Hotel. Those vehicles will move towards Vengalrao Nagar and Ameerpet.

Traffic police advised commuters to plan their travel in advance and cooperate with officials during the event.
