Hyderabad: Panjagutta Traffic Police held a free eye camp as part of the Arrive Alive campaign to promote road safety among drivers.
The programme was organised with support from Agarwal Eye Hospital. It targeted auto, cab and heavy vehicle drivers to improve awareness of safe driving.
Officials explained the importance of good eyesight in preventing road accidents. Moreover, they advised drivers to undergo regular eye check-ups to ensure safe driving practices.

DCP Traffic-1 Avinash Kumar attended the programme as the chief guest. In addition, Additional DCP A. Ramulu and ACP Khairatabad Zone S. Mohan Kumar participated in the event.
Traffic Inspector Ram Prasad Rao supervised the programme. Meanwhile, officers, including SIs Anjaneyulu, Moji Ram, Ganesh and Jabeen, actively coordinated the camp.
Officials said such initiatives aim to reduce accidents by addressing health-related risks among drivers. They added that awareness and preventive care play a key role in improving road safety.
