HDFC Bank CSR projects inaugurated by Revanth Reddy

Hyderabad: Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on Tuesday inaugurated several HDFC Bank CSR initiatives implemented under the bank’s Corporate Social Responsibility programme. The projects included two ambulances and an MRI scanner for a government hospital in Bhupalpally.

At a programme held at the MCRHRD campus, the Chief Minister flagged off two ambulances provided by HDFC Bank. He also virtually inaugurated the MRI scanner installed at the Government Hospital in Bhupalpally.

Addressing bank representatives, Revanth Reddy said self-help groups had maintained a strong loan repayment record. Therefore, he urged HDFC Bank to extend more loans to women’s self-help groups across Telangana.

The Chief Minister said the state was establishing logistics parks, warehouses and rice mills through self-help groups. He requested the bank to provide large-scale financial support for these initiatives.

Several public representatives attended the programme. Newly appointed Chief Secretary Sanjay Jaju and senior HDFC Bank officials also participated.
