Hyderabad: BJP MP Eatala Rajender joined a protest over farmers’ problems and power supply issues at the Suglampalli 132 KV substation in Sultanabad mandal. BJP mandal president Kandula Srinivas led the demonstration following a call from the party’s state and district units.
Teachers MLC Malk Komuraiah and BJP Peddapalli district president Karre Sanjeeva Reddy also attended the protest. Eatala Rajender spoke to the media about farmers’ difficulties and issues affecting the agriculture sector.
Eatala Rajender said the government had a responsibility to provide farmers with uninterrupted power. He said farmers were facing difficulties because of the current electricity problems.
The BJP MP demanded steps to improve power supply for agriculture. He also called for immediate measures to address farmers’ concerns.
BJP leaders said the party would continue to fight on behalf of the public for solutions to farmers’ problems. They also demanded improvements in electricity supply to the agriculture sector.

Karre Sanjeeva Reddy also spoke during the protest. He criticised what he described as inappropriate remarks by Chief Minister Revanth Reddy about Hindu deities.
Sanjeeva Reddy warned that such remarks should not be repeated. He said Hindus would unite and respond if similar comments were made again.
Later, the BJP leaders submitted a memorandum to the Electricity Department’s Divisional Engineer. The petition sought action on the power-related problems raised during the protest.
Kisan Morcha district president Katkuri Satyanarayana Reddy, district vice-presidents Saudari Mahender and Kasagoni Nirmala, and district secretary Shivangari Satish attended the programme.
Youth Morcha district president Ramagiri Akhil, Mahila Morcha district general secretary Bandari Latha and Mann Ki Baat district convener Mittapalli Praveen Kumar also participated.
BJP mandal general secretaries Kota Nageshwar and Kolluri Santosh, Seva Sankalp Abhiyan district convener Ushana Anvesh Yadav and former mandal president Velpula Rajanna Patel were also present.
Kisan Morcha mandal president Mende Shankaraiah, Youth Morcha president Kommidi Rajender Reddy, Mahila Morcha president Malk Bhagya Lakshmi, former sarpanch Mekala Karthik Yadav, Sammi Reddy, Perka Ramesh and Dasari Venkatesh also attended along with party workers and farmers.
