Cyberabad Standing Committee clears major infrastructure proposals

Hyderabad: The Cyberabad Standing Committee approved several infrastructure, public health and administrative proposals aimed at strengthening civic services and supporting the region’s long-term urban growth.

The fourth ordinary meeting of the Cyberabad Standing Committee took place under the chairmanship of Special Chief Secretary for Municipal Administration and Urban Development, Jayesh Ranjan.

Committee members reviewed 11 agenda items during the meeting. They approved major proposals designed to improve infrastructure, service delivery and administrative efficiency across Cyberabad.

Among the key decisions, the committee approved road development plans to improve connectivity and support planned urban expansion in important corridors.

The committee also cleared the construction of a permanent Cyberabad Municipal Corporation office complex at Khanamet. Officials said the facility will centralise administrative functions and improve public service delivery.

Cyberabad Standing Committee backs civic improvements

The committee approved measures to strengthen the town planning and engineering wings. Officials expect the move to improve project execution, field monitoring, application processing and citizen services.

Members also approved an entomology pilot project in newly added circles. The initiative aims to strengthen mosquito control measures and improve public health outcomes.

In addition, the committee approved the deployment of 14 vehicle-mounted bucket ladders for scientific tree maintenance, public safety and urban greenery management.

The Cyberabad Standing Committee also approved revisions to sports facility lease policies. Officials said the changes will improve utilisation, transparency and management of public assets.

During the meeting, members reviewed municipal finances and emphasised efficient utilisation of public resources.

The committee stressed the need for timely implementation, inter-departmental coordination and regular monitoring to ensure effective execution of the approved projects.

Officials said the initiatives would help strengthen infrastructure, improve civic services, enhance public health measures and support Cyberabad’s future development.
