Hyderabad: Cyberabad Police SHE Teams conducted 116 decoy operations between April 11 and 17 and caught 36 individuals for indecent behaviour in public places across the commissionerate.
Police registered 34 petty cases against the accused, while officials counselled the remaining individuals.

The teams also received 18 complaints from women through multiple channels during the same period. Meanwhile, the Anti-Human Trafficking Unit rescued one victim and apprehended one accused under the Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act.
According to K. Srujana, family counselling centres helped resolve domestic disputes. These centres supported 41 couples and helped them reunite.
In addition, the police carried out awareness campaigns that reached 1,846 participants. These sessions covered human trafficking, cyber harassment, child rights, stalking, and cyber fraud. Officials also explained helplines such as 181, 1098, 100, and 1930.

As part of the “Give to Gain” initiative linked to International Women’s Day, SHE Teams partnered with the SCSC Women Safety Forum. They conducted awareness sessions at major firms in Madhapur.
Police officers, including Inspector Hanuman and Sub-Inspector Ambika, led interactive sessions using real-life scenarios. These sessions encouraged employees to report incidents and improved awareness about safety measures.
Officials said such initiatives aim to prevent harassment and strengthen public confidence in reporting offences.
