Hyderabad: The Congress party organised a protest rally in Hyderabad against the Centre’s handling of issues including the NEET paper leak, LPG, petrol and diesel price hikes, CBSE-related concerns and the decline of the rupee.
The rally proceeded from Basheerbagh crossroads to the Dr B.R. Ambedkar statue at Tank Bund.
Party leaders accused the Union government of failing to address issues affecting students and the public.

TPCC president and MLC Mahesh Kumar Goud participated in the rally along with AICC secretary Sachin Sawant.
Transport and BC Welfare Minister Ponnam Prabhakar also joined the protest.
Rajya Sabha member Anil Kumar Yadav, Minister Ponnam Prabhakar and Khairatabad DCC president M Rohith took part in the programme.
Several other Congress leaders and party workers attended the rally.
The protest highlighted the party’s opposition to the Centre’s policies on education, fuel pricing and economic issues.
