Hyderabad: Telangana Welfare Minister Adluri Laxman Kumar said the state government would disclose details of alleged issues from the previous BRS regime. He made the remarks during a milk abhishekam programme at Ambedkar Chowrasta in Dharmaram mandal on Wednesday.
The Golla Kurumala Welfare Association organised the programme to mark the launch of the sheep and goat insurance scheme. Adluri Laxman Kumar attended the event and performed the milk abhishekam to portraits of Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy and Rahul Gandhi.
Later, association members felicitated the minister with a traditional gongadi. They also presented him with a lamb.
Minister said the government would place details of the issues under scrutiny before the public. He said Chief Minister Revanth Reddy would release “BRS Papala Chitta Part-1” in Siricilla on Wednesday.
Adluri Laxman Kumar outlines three-part programme
According to the minister, Part-1 would cover issues allegedly linked to the 10-year period when K.T. Rama Rao represented Siricilla. He said the government would explain these matters to the public.
After the Siricilla programme, the government would hold Part-2 in Siddipet, Adluri Laxman Kumar said. Finally, Part-3 would take place in Gajwel.
The minister alleged that BRS leaders were responding strongly whenever the government brought allegations against them into the public domain. He said they were doing so to protect their political existence.
The programme was attended by Golla Kurumala Welfare Association leaders Mahender, Nagaraju and Uday. Mandal Sarpanches’ Association president Ranjith, Congress mandal president Rupla Naik and others also participated.
