Hyderabad: Law graduate Dharani was just a little girl dressed as Telangana Talli during the Telangana statehood movement in 2009. Back then, Telangana was not yet a state, and dressing up as Telangana Talli was part of the agitation.
Now, BRS Working President K Tarakarama Rao has shared her story on X, along with pictures from then and now. The old picture shows a young Dharani wearing a crown and garlands, standing beside KTR, who has his arms folded. According to KTR, it dates back to his visit to her village, Gudem, in Siricilla.
A reunion years later
KTR said Dharani, who has just graduated from law college, came to greet him yesterday along with her friends. The new pictures show KTR handing her a potted plant as she stands draped in a pink shawl. In another, he chats with Dharani and her friends, most of them dressed in black coats and gowns.
Mother inspired law graduate Dharani
KTR also credited her mother, Kurra Savitri, describing her as an amazing woman and a leader. According to him, Savitri inspired law graduate Dharani to dream big. Further, KTR said he had promised Dharani that he would do his best to further her educational career.
