Hyderabad: An ABVP protest at the Telangana Education Department office turned tense as student leaders demanded immediate action to address problems in government schools and regulate private school fee collections.
A large number of ABVP activists gathered at the Education Department Commissionerate and accused the Congress government of pursuing anti-education policies.
The protesters demanded that the state government resolve infrastructure deficiencies in government schools without delay.
They also urged authorities to take strict action against private educational institutions allegedly collecting fees in violation of regulations. Several ABVP leaders attempted to enter the Education Department office during the protest. Police personnel intervened and prevented the protesters from moving into the premises.

The protest concluded with police maintaining security around the commissionerate premises.
