The Peddapalli Center of Excellence aims to empower women entrepreneurs and promote youth innovation. It also enables grassroots enterprises to access technology, markets and structured capacity-building support.

Officials said the centre will function as a hub for skill development, incubation and enterprise acceleration. Moreover, it will drive digital enablement in rural and semi-urban regions.

In addition, the centre will support innovation and help individuals convert ideas into viable enterprises. Authorities said the Peddapalli Center of Excellence will prioritise women-led ventures and youth innovators.

Further, the initiative will focus on emerging sectors such as technology-enabled services, manufacturing, creative industries and sustainable MSMEs.

Peddapalli Center of Excellence marks first district initiative

Officials said the Peddapalli Center of Excellence will help build a strong entrepreneurial ecosystem at the district level. As a result, it will enable women and youth to create sustainable businesses and generate livelihoods.

The initiative will contribute to economic development in Telangana by promoting inclusive growth and innovation. Moreover, authorities described the launch as a milestone since Peddapalli became the first district to host such a centre.

They added that the model can be replicated in other districts. Therefore, the Peddapalli Center of Excellence is expected to act as a catalyst for enterprise creation and innovation.

It also reinforces the state government’s focus on decentralising entrepreneurship support.

Speaking at the event, Minister Sridhar Babu said, “Empowering women entrepreneurs and nurturing youth innovation at the grassroots is crucial for building an inclusive and self-reliant Telangana. Initiatives such as this Center of Excellence will not only create sustainable livelihood opportunities but also inspire a new generation of entrepreneurs from our districts.”
