Venkaiah Naidu pays tribute to industrialist G.N. Naidu in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: Former Vice President of India M. Venkaiah Naidu paid tribute to noted industrialist and Regency Ceramics founder Dr. G.N. Naidu at a memorial meeting held in Hyderabad.

The programme took place at Jubilee Hills Convention Centre on Saturday.

Venkaiah Naidu described G.N. Naidu as a close associate and recalled his contribution to India’s industrial growth.

He said G.N. Naidu was not only a businessman but also a visionary engineer.

G.N. Naidu inspired future entrepreneurs, says Venkaiah Naidu

Meanwhile, Venkaiah Naidu said G.N. Naidu pursued higher education at a time when opportunities were limited and later emerged as an entrepreneur committed to national development.

He noted that industrial infrastructure remained weak during the early years of his entrepreneurial journey.

Despite those challenges, the entrepreneur established industries that produced goods capable of competing at the international level, he said.

Venkaiah Naidu said G.N. Naidu believed business should benefit society and not merely generate profits.

He added that the entrepreneur created employment opportunities for thousands of people and also established educational institutions for poor students.

Venkaiah Naidu said the industrialist’s life and achievements would continue to inspire future generations.

He also expressed hope that younger generations would draw inspiration from G.N. Naidu’s vision and public service.
