Hyderabad: The centring workers protest in Hyderabad received support from Telangana Rakshana Sena chief K Kavitha on Saturday. The protest took place near Indira Park under the banner of the Greater Hyderabad Centring Contractors Association.
Kavitha accused the government led by Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy of failing to solve the problems faced by centring workers.
LB Nagar MLA Sudheer Reddy and Jana Sena leader Prem Kumar also joined the protest.
Kavitha demanded that the Chief Minister hold talks with centring workers’ leaders within two days.
Centring workers protest gains political support
Kavitha warned that she would join the dharna if the government failed to address the workers’ issues within two days.
She said the demands raised by centring workers were genuine.
Kavitha assured workers that Telangana Rakshana Sena would support them. She also promised to solve their issues if her party came to power.
She said her party would provide education and healthcare facilities after forming the government in Telangana.
